Anatomy and Physiology
Even though you may have studied bones and muscles at GSCE we are now going to do two things. First look in more detail at the body, but more importantly we willl understand why the body does the amazing things it does. From movement to increase in heart rate. From the affects of altitude to the types of muscle fibres we use. Lastly we will be able to apply this new knowledge to sporting scenarios as well as it's impact on a balanced active healthy lifestyle.
Key tip: You need to understand the sturucture and the function of your anatomy. So what is it that your describing and then how does it work. Use a small example, your bicep, what is made of? What is its job? By doing this you will always score well.
